In accordance with the rules established by the Government, in order to ensure additional safety and well-being to all our Guests, During 2021 Summer season we have developed a security protocol to contrast and contain the spread of Covid-19.
Our number one priority is the safety and security of our customers and precautionary measures and sanitation protocols are essential. We are working to combine the highest standards of hospitality with those of safety, towards guests, suppliers and our staff.
Our hospitality model is highlighted in the following points:
1) Safety Protocol
In collaboration with the Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS), world leader in certifications, we have defined a Health Protocol for guests, staff and suppliers. The Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) has examined, tested and confirmed the sanitation protocols that we have chosen to apply with the aim of ensuring a peaceful holiday for all our guests.
2) Advanced digital services
To minimize interaction and direct contact with surfaces, we have developed procedures that allow us to streamline the check-in and check-out procedures, minimizing the time spent staying and waiting at the front desk. More efficiency, faster, more time for your holidays.

• Online services for guests - QR code with page dedicated to information regarding all the services offered;
3) Hygiene and sanitation
Special Cleaning Villas / Residences / Rooms
Beside the normal cleaning procedures, an additional sanitization and disinfection protocol has been introduced for surfaces (remote controls, furniture, handles, etc.), fabrics and furnishings with Ekonore bio ozone generating machines that are safe for the environment and people. At the end of each treatment, a sanitation sign is left in each room.
All the linen supplied to our customer, both beds and baths, are packed in transparent film and treated with virucidal VAH registered procedures that guarantee a washing and sanitizing process capable of obtaining microbial abatement on the fabrics (Ozonit performance and Oxyguard Emulsion according).
Cleaning and sanitizing common areas
Common areas have been redesigned to keep them usable in complete safety.
The front desk has been equipped with plexiglass separators and distance indicators.
The two entrance doors are now being used as an entrance and an exit.
The reception, toilets and other common areas of the structure are sanitized in line with the general protection protocols.
In restaurants, the sterilization of kitchens and utensils is carried out with the use of clinically tested cleaning products, in line with hospital protocols.
4) Beach and sports equipment
We are committed to ensuring that our guests do not have to give up the pleasure of a swim in our beautiful sea.
It will be possible to enjoy our private beach but with some precautions:
To ensure everyone's health, the distance between the umbrellas will be at least 3.5 meters on both sides; it will be our staff's responsibility to attend customers to the assigned position, which will remain the same for the entire period of stay; both sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as nautical and outdoor sports equipment will always be sanitized after each use;
5) Safety Protocol on
To minimize risks, we have updated our procedures relating to ordering, preparation, delivery, consumption and payment of food & beverage services;
Our famous breakfast buffet will continue to offer all guests the opportunity to taste the sweet delicacies not with the self-service service but with a dedicated waiter who will serve the chosen breakfast at your table. In addition, the breakfast menu can be consulted by clicking on a digital QR code and preferences can be communicated to the staff the previous evening. The single portions served at the table for breakfast will allow you to enjoy your meal in absolute safety.
Lunch and Dinner:
We have organized ourselves to allow guests to enjoy lunch and dinner peacefully in total safety by guaranteeing the distancing of the tables provided for by the guidelines of health legislation.
The staff, has been trained to protect themselves and others, follows the protocols issued to guarantee food safety scrupulously.
6) Gym and sports
Your well-being and comfort are our number one priority. With this in mind, in compliance with the health provisions in place, during 2020 Summer season it would be possible to use the Gym to allow entrance to a maximum of 10 people at the same time upon reservation. Changing rooms will not be available, therefore you are advised to show up in your sportswear.
Both outdoor and water sports will be guaranteed, it will be possible to train in our tennis courts, paddle courts and rent our mountain bikes, E-bikes or classic bikes. On our wonderful beach it will be possible to sail, windsurf and stand up paddle, train and have fun with our canoes, pedal boats and wakesurf.
Your safety and health protection are fundamental to us.
The activities will take place in the pine forest, on the beach and at the Laghetto and will be managed by trained personnel. In order to enjoy all the proposed activities in total safety, children will be organized in micro-groups, thanks to the great extent of our outdoor spaces available and play areas. We have organized ourselves to best respect the safety protocols and ensure the greatest possible well-being for all our guests, young and old, with the aim of making everyone have a pleasant holiday.
8) Social distancing rules
Riva degli Etruschi follows all the protocols to ensure the social distancing is kept when interacting with others;
We have equipped our common areas in order to make them usable in complete safety by our guests and staff;
We have created ad hoc safety signs in all common areas to remind everyone of the need to keep their distance and avoid gatherings;
We have repositioned the furnishings in the common areas to facilitate the social distancing of the guests.
All staff have been trained to support guests in observe these measures in the various spaces of the structure.
9) Protocols and personal protective equipment
We offer safety devices and hand sanitizing gel to all our guests, staff and suppliers during their stay; All the employees of the structure have access to the equipment necessary to carry out their work with the maximum guarantees for the protection of health.
All suppliers accessing the facility must comply with the safety measures provided, social distancing, as well as the procedures that provide for strict instructions to be followed by the suppliers and technical assistance companies that access our facility.
10) Water purification and air quality protocols
We observe the most stringent purification and sanitization standards of ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Air quality - We have increased the frequency of inspections on ventilation systems and air conditioners and we have adopted a sanitizing and cleaning system according to the parameters established by the ISS; we have forbidden the use of the recirculation of ventilated air by constantly monitoring the microclimatic parameters (relative humidity, temperature, etc.).
Water sanitation - We have activated adequate control and analysis plans, as well as specific sanitation activities of the water system and revised protocols for the treatment of wastewater.
11) Tuscany Connection consultancy service

12) Employee health and safety protocols
For greater safety and health protection for all, staff will be temperature screened before and after each shift.
We have a protocol in place with procedures in case of guest health problems, with the possibility of isolation and interaction with medical services as well as transport logistics.
We have also activated a specific training course for personnel regarding compliance with safety protocols and procedures in compliance with health regulations.
13) Hotel Health and Safety Manager
We have a health and safety manager who is dealing with the implementation of the new health measures intended for the protection of everyone's health as well as the training of all employees.
Employee training - all employees will be instructed with adequate training on the procedures necessary to be adopted for the protection of other employees, guests and suppliers.
Medical clinic: we have our medical clinic active from Monday to Friday where the following specialist visits are possible by appointment: physiotherapy and shock waves, gynecology, cardiology.
